From it’s humble beginnings of fulfilling food orders for families and friends, Pinoy Celebrations realized that there is a paucity of suppliers in the city catering specifically to the Filipino community, suppliers who can provide not only food that reflects their culture but the cultural celebration itself. Say, a Filipino family who is celebrating a milestone event may find a place to order the ethnic food in bulk but would not have the personalized service the event calls for. On the other end of the spectrum, they may find a caterer or a banquet hall who provides services tailored to the event but would not have the capacity to specialize the menu enough to make it a cultural success. Stemming from reasons such as these, Pinoy Celebrations evolved.
Pinoy Celebrations, a family owned business based in Toronto, offers Authentic Filipino full service catering, party platters for delivery or pick up or exclusive fine dining experience when booking our party room with a capacity of upto 65 people.. As we`d like to emphasize, “lutong Kapampangan,” an experience of good cooking reflective of Pampanga, the region of the Philippines known for their culinary expertise and “fiestang Pilipino,” colourful and familial celebrations that only bring good memories of home.
Pinoy Celebrations brings to Toronto a fine and authentic Filipino gastronomic experience where your food is served in banga (clay pot), bilao (woven basket), dahon ng saging (banana leaves) or sizzling platters when booking your party with us, eco friendly platters when ordering our food for delivery or pick up or elegant serveware and equipment when you book us to cater to your next event. As well, you will get to sample Pinoy Celebrations’ international menu from time to time or as you request on your catering order.
Currently, Pinoy Celebrations (Pinoy – a slang for Filipino), although catering majorly to the Filipino community, is proud to add to their offer list services of various ethnic influences. In fact, to date, with less than 3 years in business, a roster of their clients already include the Ex Governor Adrienne Clarkson, prominent business people from different cultural backgrounds, a few mid-size concerts by American and local artists and numerous local organizations. This may not come as a surprise given the previous experience of the staff comprising the company, experiences working in the most meticulous of environments such as the palace of the former Prince (now the King) of Saudi Arabia to the US and Mexican embassy in the Philippines to various diplomat residences here and abroad, not to mention the countless 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts and corporate groups they were privileged to service.
